Have you tried to restart your controller, do a power cycle on that controller and see if the message is still there.

Hi,

Drill down into what the error actually is. i.e. have a look at Host Ports, Device Ports & Enclosure tabs. Make sure to check all fibre connections, Power Supplies, etc, etc within these tabs. Particlarly check your cache battery status under the enclosure tab. You will have something that has failed and it will tell you more than what your are seeing now.

This can appear also after the controller has rebooted because of a internal error. You need to check the EVA logs to see what happened before that controller reboot. The message to look for is "This controller needs atention".
