HP EVA 4400 raid setting
We have a new HP EVA4400 Dual Cntrl Array.
(it has 12 nos of 1TB each)
Now, my quistion is, i want to set raid0 - mirroring for 2 disks (+ 2) & raid1+0 for the other 8 disks.
Is this possible ??
If so, how can i do it ??
Thanks & Regards,
Ramesh

Re: HP EVA 4400 raid setting
However, all data is accross all disks within a disk group, no matter what raid level do you configure for vdisks.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP EVA 4400 raid setting
That's fine.
I know "mirroring" is non existent now....
But, my primary quistion is:
Can we have two raid levels setup in one enclosure (say, having 12 disks)
For example, can i set "Vraid1" for a few disks & "Vraid6" for the remaining disks in the same enclosure (in the same EVA)??
