Re: HP ProLiant DL380 G3 Packaged Cluster with MSA500 problems with 300 GB HDD
MSA500 supports these:
300-GB 10,000 rpm U320 Universal Hard Drive (1") 350964-B22
The message means that the controllers could not write m&p (monitoring and performance) stamp on the drive.

Re: HP ProLiant DL380 G3 Packaged Cluster with MSA500 problems with 300 GB HDD
have you verified that those disks are supported with MSA500? Have you the PN of the disks drives? I have a customer which has also 300 GB drives in a MSA500, but maybe those firmware is newer.
Regards,
Patrick
