Re: HP3000 and AUTORAID
I have worked with the AutoRaid Model 12 & 12H. The environment that I have
worked on is the HP9000/ series 800 but what you would do would be the same.
I can't answer your questions because you did not provide me with any details
on your environmant. What application are you running, how much disk space do
you need, how many hard disks in each autoraid and what size of disk are you
using, how many SCSI controllers are you using.

Re: HP3000 and AUTORAID
for sure, from February, you got some answer from HP but, in any case, I can tell you that we work from two months with an AutoRaid and a HP3000-979/200 running MPE 6.0 PP2. For our purpose it work well as boot and data disc. The only suggestions are: live, as much as possible, the array in RAID1 and, for the HP3000, don't take care about the secondary processor (it can be useful with a next release / patch of the OS with the high availability fail over (HFO)).
