HSG80 direct connect to HP-UX

HSG80 direct connect to HP-UX

If a customer had a HSG80 direct connected to a HP-UX server will the HSG80 events (ie..failed disk etc) get reported to the HP-UX system log. Unfortunately I don't know the version of HP-UX or firmware of the HSG80..If required I can gather that info.
The customer wants to install ISEE client on
the HP-UX server to monitor the HSG80, but I don't know if this will work for him ( no San
Appliance either)
