Help initializing hp disk system 2300

Hi folks,

Just to be clear, the A5856A RAID 4Si card will always use SCSI ID 7. It cannot be changed. Therefore, it is essential that there be only one connection from the RAID 4Si to any particular SCSI bus. In the case of DS2100, you must use the split-bus mode if you want to make two connections to RAID 4Si.

The BCH menu is only used to change the ID of SCSI cards, not RAID cards.
