If it is disabled then you don't need to do anything.

Solutionhigh level overview on how you should start here:
- get at least one system with a fibre card connected direct or via a switch to the hostport of the VA7xxx
- install the CommandView s/w
- if you can see the array from CommandView, great, if not , connect a serial cable and check the host port mode and speed settings, topology and other config parameters (as mentioned in previous response)
- create a LUN and IF 'LUN security' is disabled you should see the new LUN on your host right away (or after a rescan in disk mgmt). LUN security can stay disabled as long as you don't have more then one host, if you plan to attach more hosts (very likely) then you should enable the LUN security in CommandView and build your security table based on the WWN of the fibre HBA's of your hosts and match them with the LUN numbers you want each host to be able to access.
By default LUN security is possible up to a limted capacity, if you want more, you need to buy a license up to the capacity of the LUNs you want to manage in a multi host configuration.
If LUN security is enabled because this array was used before elsewhere and you cannot get acces to any LUN, connect to the serial port and disable LUN security.
Pls also download and read the VA7x and CommandView manuals as mentioned before.
