How to bypass the F1 or F10 pause with Smart Array Controllers

I'm sure it's a simple question, but I'm just not seeing how to do it. Thanks for your help in advance.

Re: How to bypass the F1 or F10 pause with Smart Array Controllers

Josh:

There is no F1 or F10 pause on a Smart Array that is configured properly.

If there is a problem with the array controller or any array's, then you should get an F1 and/or an F2, F5 and F10 (I think those are the options) for the different options available to you at that point. (Continue, Disable, Fail a Drive, etc).

There is a pause after the array controller initializes where you can hit F8 to enter the Array's BIOS and do simple things like Create/View/Delete arrays, or "ESC" to continue the boot process.

If this is what you are talking about, I do not think there is a way to disable it, but I could be wrong. Perhaps with the Command Line utility there might be a command to disable it, or perhaps in RBSU (F10 before OS starts).
