I have a server (rx2660) connected to MSA70 via a SAS cable. How can I configure these array without have to shutdown the server everytime when i add new volumegroup
Please help

BTW, you have a smartarray P400 for internal and a P800 for external disks.

The P800 is /dev/ciss1, the P400 is /dev/ciss0 (this is important now).
To manage online, you'll use "saconfig" and "sautil", e.g.
# saconfig /dev/ciss1
