How to extend LUN EVA 4400
I have HP UX 11.31 with SAP running on it
I don't have free PE in /dev/vgdata and
/dev/vgsapeep.
I would like to extend the LUN from EVA 4400 to these two. I have the following questions:-
1) What is the command to extend LUN from EVA 4400?
2) Can I carry out this activity while SAP is running?
Please help.

Re: How to extend LUN EVA 4400
It depends if you use LVM v1 or v2.x.
However, consider to create a new LUN and assign it to your existing vg.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: How to extend LUN EVA 4400
Open Command View EVA, CLick on particular Vdisk (LUN) ,change the size as you required this will get the lun to new size if you have enough free space in DIsk Group.
Note: Please make sure that your OS support online extension LUN. Also its suggested to have a backup beofore doing it. If online is not possible create another lun and add to existing VG.

Dileep
