We have an EVA8K presenting vdisks to HP-UX 11.23 servers with no Secure Path installed.
Each vdisk has a unique WW_LUNID when viewed in Command View EVA.
Is there a way of identifying the WW_LUNID of a vdisk from the HP-UX o/s?
Reason being that we want to be 100% sure when unpresenting vdisks from hosts.

Solution
You want the 'evainfo' utility ;-)
Choose your OS:

The usage is explained in the release notes - click the link in the 'description' column, first.

Re: How to identify EVA8K vdisks presented to HP-UX 11.23?
Thanks for the response - this looks like exactly what I need. I was aware of the "xpinfo" command for querying LUNs presented from XP arrays but I hadn't heard of this command. Well done to HP for offering such a useful command!
