Re: How to move a vdisk to another diskgroup within the same EVA
Shalom,
vgexport the volume group containing the vdisk.
vgimport the volume group containing the vdisk to the new system.
EVA changes will be necessary to make the volume group visible to the second system.
You could also create a new vdisk and simply copy the data across with dd (same system) or scp -rp (different system, uses network).

Hi,
a) without the BC
online LVM mirror between the vdisk from the 1st DG and vdisk from the 2nd DG and then reduce the first mirror
b) BC mirrorclone p. 12

Re: How to move a vdisk to another diskgroup within the same EVA
Just to extend IBaltay's reply:
a) you don't really move a vdisk from one vdisk to another, but the contents.
in this case you create another new vdisk and mirror (copy) the data from the host.
in b) you do the same from the array itself.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
