In Event Of Failure
Currently, we have six drives in the internal cage of an ML370 in a single RAID 5 array. This array also contains the boot partition. In the event our 5304 array controller fails, will we have to rebuild our arrays (and effectively wipe out our data), or can we simply replace the controller upon failure, and just boot up like nothing happened?

Re: In Event Of Failure
If your 5304 fails you will NOT loose your Raid set. Just swap the 53xx and you are good to go. No rebuild necessary as the information is stored in your raid set and not on the 5304.
