Inconsistent shared memory and cache memory on XP12000

Hello
When I tried to 'Volume To Space' operation on
my XP12000 I got the error: 'The status of the subsystem requires maintenance(for example the subsystem is blocked the shared memory is inconsistent or some other factor'

What is all that mean.How can I recover from these. Do I need to change hardware or can I recover it from SVP Maintenance Menu.Please help!

I you have trouble with your XP, step back and call HP.

Can you imagine if we used PCs to manage our enterprise systems? ... oops.

Hey, Hey, be nice now... The XP is sick and needs help before you do anything to it. Not shooting yourself in the foot and all that.

It's protecting your data (Think of that as the machines prime directive) That's why it's a Tier 1 storage array with "built in 5 "9's". It would be the same for other Tier 1 storage vendors. (Full disclosure - I'm an HP employee)

Some features of this array require a special memory/cache configuration. Since (hardware) modifications are done, they need preparation and care! The support have your current configuration and can compare what you have and what you probably need. This array is not intended for self maintenance.
