Installation driver EVA4000 in RedHat4 U4
Hi
I have EVA4000 and use it in W2K3 with Command View EVA, where I can create new drive. I don't want to use Command View EVA in RedHat4 and don't want to create disk in RedHat4. What should I do to use the disk in OS RedHat4. Which driver should I use?
thanks

Re: Installation driver EVA4000 in RedHat4 U4
Please check:
HP StorageWorks Command View EVA user guide
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00605846.pdf
Command View is installed on only one (Windows) server and you use it to create vdisks on the EVA and present them to other servers. The servers will see the vdisk as a SCSI disk after a reboot or refresh (scan for harware devices, ioscan, etc).
Then you can mount and create a filesystem on the disk pressented from the EVA.
