Integrated SMART Array Controller

Can the Integrated Smart Array Controller (RAID On Chip) Controller in ML 370 support more than 3 hard disk drives in an NT Environment?
Secondly, does the above mentioned controller support Hot Spare Disks?

Since it can ONLY support internal drives and there are only so many internal bays... But the system has 6x 1" bays, so unless you are trying to put half-height drives (there aren't any for this system), the limit is 6.
