Is the 2SL the same as a 221?
I've been looking for details of the 2SL on the web site but can't find much. I want to upgrade the ROM on a 2SL but can't find any thing to do with it?

Supports Wide-Ultra SCSI; a 16-bit, 20 MHz bus providing a 40 Mbytes/sec data transfer rate
Support for Wide-Ultra SCSI, Fast-Wide SCSI-2, and Fast-SCSI-2 hard drives
Single SCSI channel on the board supports up to 7 drives
Wide-Ultra SCSI/Fast-Wide SCSI-2 (Wide SCSI) internal connector
Fast-SCSI-2 (standard) internal connector
Wide-Ultra SCSI/Fast-Wide SCSI-2 (Wide SCSI) external connector
Performance monitoring through Compaq Insight Manager
Automatic performance tuning
Pre-failure notification
Read-ahead caching

Multiple logical drives per drive array
32-bit PCI Bus Master interface
Off-line drive movement
4-MB Read Cache SIMM
Compatible with the high-end SMART-2/P and SMART-2/E controllers

current rom revision should be 4.44 or 4.48 via sp12986 if you are not at minimun 3.08 then run sp8560 first to bet to 3.08 then sp12986. Here is link to get those files ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/
