Is there a HP SIM MIB file for the EVA HSV210?
I'm monitoring an EVA8000 with HP SIM and notice that the existing MIB file (cpqhsv110v3.mib) does not contain all traps for EVA8000 SNMP alerts (as you would expect I guess - as it has a HSV210).
I have been unable to find an updated MIB for the HSV210.
Incidentally, I have tried also loading HPCVEVA.mib (downloadable from command view EVA) but that also does not contain HSV210 traps.
Has anyone come up against this one before and found a fix? Later Mib etc.?

Re: Is there a HP SIM MIB file for the EVA HSV210?
Sadly, no. Though it looks like others had the same issue...
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1046848
...maybe some answers there?
The tips we had were:
1. Don't use SIM, use OV SAM (licensed).
2. Try SMI-S, not SNMP (http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/smisproviders.html)
3. Try some other free tools (http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/svctools)
Unfortunately, we've not been in a position to try any of these options.
Tip: We also had no success with the HPCVEVA.MIB file you can download from Command View EVA. Apparently it's not intended for use with SIM.
It was suggested that managing an EVA with SIM is probably not the best idea.
I hope you have more success than we did. If you find an answer, post it here.
Good luck!
