K220 & Fibre Channel
We have a K220 and was wanting to know if we could install a Fibre Channel card into it.
If so can a 2gb card be installed.
I am under the impression that there are no expansion slots available or possible on a K220.
Thanks
Darren

Re: K220 & Fibre Channel
Darren, I think the best FC card that you can stick in K box is the: A6684A
HSC Tachlite Fiber Channel adapter - 1Gbps short wave adapter with Tachyon TL chip - Installed in a 5V or universal HSC slot - Has SC connectors
Thanks

Re: K220 & Fibre Channel
and yes, it looks like the K220 cant take any HSC expansions so you are limited to 1 HSC slot and 4 HP-PB slots. You could always swap your K220 back plane with a K420 back plane to enable you to use one of the 2 or 4 HSC slot expansions.
