KZPCCAgent won't die!

Hi

A KZPCC controller has recently been installed, replacing LSM, on an ES40 running Tru64 5.1B PK3. I have started the KZPCCAgent process and need to stop it due to changing the W2K client. The problem I have is that a kill -9 on the process does not work. The box has been rebooted, the process restarted, and kill -9 still won't work. Any ideas?!
