Linux and disk sharing

Hello colleagues,
I'd like to setup a "cluster" by using Intel server (powerful PC's) and Linux.
We should start by choosing a hardware configuration, i.e. Intel servers + storages ...
We need a low cost - low performances storage device, just 2-300 GBytes shared by the servers.
The servers and the storages are co-located, no geographical or metro networks between them.
Can you help me in choosing the storages? I guess a disk array is the best choice; which one for Intel and Linux?

thanks in advance
regards
Enrico

Re: Linux and disk sharing

Probably, the MSA500 is the storage that you could start with:

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
