Lost two EVA4000 disk in Disk Group with RAID5 vdisk
Hi I have an HP EVA 4000, in a Disk Group have missed two disk at the same time, were in vRAID5 vdisk.
Protecting the Disk Group is set to simple.
It indicates that the vdisk in Raid 5 are in poor condition and asked me when I access the Command View vdisk if I want to leave as they are or delete them.
How can I retrieve information from these VDISK RAID5?
Thank you very much

Re: Lost two EVA4000 disk in Disk Group with RAID5 vdisk
Hi,
If both disks were in the same redundancy group (RSS) then unfortunately your data will probably be gone.
Do you have good backups ?
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Lost two EVA4000 disk in Disk Group with RAID5 vdisk
Hello,
if CV ask you, to leave a Vdisks as it is or to delete it, you should have a valid backup. In this case the disks were in the same RSS and your data is gone.
Regards,
Patrick
