MA 8000 expansion
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO EXPAND AN EXISTING ARRAY - RAID 5 - WE WANT TO ADD MORE DISKS !!!

You cannot expand an existing storage-set on the HSG. You can, however, create a seconde RAID-5 set and link both togther through a 'concat-set'. That can only be done once.
Otherwise you need to backup your data, dismantle the current storage-set, create a new one including the new disks, initialize it and restore the data. Remember that RAID-5 sets are limited to up to 14 disks on the HSG.

Actually the raidset limit on the HSG80 is 1TB. So however many disks make a TB is the limit on the raidset. If you have a lot of smaller drives, you can keep adding as long as the total is under 1TB.
