MDS600 Noise Considerations
I am looking to potentially deploy a MDS600 in an environment that has restrictive noise requirements (a Data Center with people working). The array would be connected to a DL380G6 via a P812.
Can anyone comment on the noise coming from a MDS600? I assumed the fans are variable speed but unsure how quiet they become during steady state. The server is barely noticable in the environment.
Finally, I only will need the first drawer powered on for the initial deployment. Can someone confirm if the array can operate in this mode? It appears from the specifications that each is powered and cabled independently.
Thank you
