MSA 1500 and EVA

Currently we have having alot of performance issues with our MSA1500. We basically have 4 host servers and about 40 guest servers.

Has anyone here have/had similar issues with the MSA and upgrade to EVA all performance issue went away.

Re: MSA 1500 and EVA

Any disk enclosure with few disks is limited on the number of I/Os it can do. 40 servers are 40 servers, it does not matter they are virtual.
It all depends on how many disks and how many I/Os. Think about 100 - 150 I/Os per disk. Then try to get some numbers on how many I/Os the VmWare servers are sending to the MSA.
