I have a new 1510 with 1 msa30 and 2 msa20's online and I am trying to connect a W2k3 server using Microsofts iSCSI iniitator and I am have autentication issues. I can ping the storage's address from the server and can add the target but when I try to log onto the target I get the message "Authorization failure" I have CHAP disabled on the target side and have tried several versions of the microsoft initiator software. I spent 2 hours on the phone with HP Support Saturday and got no further than I am today. Can anyone give me any ideas?
Thanks
Jeff

Re: MSA 1510i iSCSI initiator issue
That was it, I somehow missed that and didnt get the info from the support person. I added the initator, and it worked.
