MSA 2000 Drive module no lights after rebuild of RAID 1
hello we had a failure in one of our disks last week on our MSA 2000, a 2TB SAS drive we replaced the disk and rebuilt the RAID 1, the rebuild is completed but the LED's on the disk thats been replaced are all off on the rack, no flashing or activity.
Any suggestions?
am i right in thinking the drive may be offline perhaps but in HP SMU how do you make a drive online after a rebuild?
i am very new to this software
Many thanks

Re: MSA 2000 Drive module no lights after rebuild of RAID 1
If the disk is "avail" in SMU, you need to make it a spare.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
