MSA 2000 drive replacement
Hi there,
I have a drive in enclosure 0, slot 9 which has given a media read error but hasn't been marked as degraded or failed by the controller. Drives are in a RAID5 config with online spare. How can I remove this drive safely for replacement whilst online?
Or would you just leave it until it fails?
Whats best practice?
Many Thanks Guys

Re: MSA 2000 drive replacement
Is the MSA2000 just attached to a Smart Array controller in a server, or is it behind a (P2000 / MSA2xxx) SAN?
Thanks,
Mark...
