MSA 2040 connectivity question
Hi,
I'm looking for some clarification regarding the MSA 2040's iSCSI connectivity options.
According to the manuals I have to select either 1 or 10 Gb/s SFP module packs for iSCSI, but it also mentions/lists optional DAC/copper 10GbE cables.
Is it possible to connect the MSA 2040 with DAC/copper 10GbE ethernet cable to a HP switch, and use iSCSI connectivity? Or only the fiber SFPs are available?
Thanks.

Re: MSA 2040 connectivity question
Scroll down to
MSA 2040 SAN Controller allows customers to create their own Combo Controller by mixing FC and iSCSI SFPs. Below are the valid configurations for mixing SFPs:
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
