Hi.
I have dual-controller configuration. Controller A is bad and I must replace it. But "2000g2 modular smart array controller module replacement instruction" says: when replacing the controller A, configuration setting may be reset to the values of the replacement controller. No further recommendations... How to do backup configuration i cannot find (gui console). If there is a risk, what kind of fault tolerance in question?
Can you help me advice, how to replace controller A?

SolutionHi
i have already replaced it. I replaced the controller A to the hot, without shutting down (it was not serviced). Configuration was not reset, but newest firmware was replicated from controller A to controller B. It was about 25 minutes.
