We replaced last night the iSCSI controler with 2 new SAS controllers and everything works like a charm.
But, can someone tell me where the hell we can reset the event log warnings!!!
Because the Health Status is still "Degraded" of very old warnings. But I can't find a button to reset the warnings and alarms in the event log.
Am I just too stupid or blind? ;-)
Thx

SolutionThat's nice! Did you redo the vdisks or did you keep them as well?
I don't know where to do it in the SMU. But there is a CLI command:
clear events [a|b|both]

Re: MSA P2000 G3 and the Event log
Unbelievable it's only in the CLI available.
Ya first we keep the vdisks and it works just well.....but later recreated the volume because of the Chunk Size. But it was not really necessary.
Ok, Health status is still degraded. I guess it's just because of I didn't plugged in any Ethernet cable to the Management Network Port on the second controller.
Thx again Johan

Re: MSA P2000 G3 and the Event log
And yes, I've had people ask my why it goes degraded by not having that cable plugged in.. but that's just how it is :p

Re: MSA P2000 G3 and the Event log
This is Marty, just want to say thanks also. Unfortunately the vdisk is still showing degraded.
