MSA1000 LCD Screen is blank

I have an MSA1000 controller whose LCD scrren is blank, yet the controller appears to be operating. Is there a screen saver option that I'm not aware of?

Good day to you !
Try to press the cursor (up / down) and see whether the 'screen saver' mode is off.

Based on my experiences, there's no such thing about 'screen saver' option on MSA1000.

So once you find the output of test above, you can call HP and ask for replacement.

We tried the up/down and right/left but still no screen display. I think we will just get the item replaced. It is still under warranty.

Louann,

Before having it replaced. Can you verify that the LCD ribbon cable is attached. You will see a white ribbon cable from the LCD to the controller board.

Unfortunately, the controller is installed and can not be pulled out at this time. When the MSA1000 first was powered up, the display was working, and then it went out. This unit is located in Lakenheath, England, so I will leave it up to the FE to figure out.
