multible non unique world wide port name (wwpn) nonstop error appears on the CLI console , so i am unable to configure the storage properly , if this normal message so how to hide it and complete configuring the storage .
note: this error comes cause i have 2 X HBA on each system connected to the MSA1K storage (fiber) .

Re: MSA1000 StorageWorks
Do you have all of your HBA's and your MSA ports all plugged into the same SAN switch? This could explain the duplicates.

Re: MSA1000 StorageWorks
ok , the problem description in details :
i have 2 alpha servers (es45& ds25) each has 2 x HBA with unique wwpn .
and these servers connected to MSA1000 storage works witch contains : 2 X san switch & 2 controllers for NSPOF .
now each server must be connected to both switches on msa1k , and the same to the other server .
i want to boot from the external storage in both servers to implement the Trucluster V5.1B , using Tru64 Unix V5.1B .
from alpha console (srm) : when i use :
p00>> wwidmgr -quickset -udid #
it starts giving nonstop error on the hyper termenal for the MSA1K .
the error :
multible non unique world wide port name.
