MSA1500CS SLOW!
I have a MSA1500CS in an active/active configuration connected to two msa30 enclosures with 10 drives in each. I am running a raid1+0 and was expecting performance in the 100-200mbs neighborhood. HD tach is reporting access speed at 30mbs. I have the latest firmware on the MSA and the latest HBA drivers. I called tech support at hp and they told me because I was using an incompatible card Qlogic qla2340 and I wasn’t using a Hp server that they couldn’t help. The card I am using came bundled with the MSA how could it possibly be incompatible? Needless to say I already have over 30k tied up in this thing and I need to make it work. Any help would be greatly appreciated
