MSA30 mi and 6402 raid array cards? failover questions
I have a proposal to put together and wanted to know if you can pair these two products on a HP-UX server and still have dual paths?
With this config..both cards can see the all the disks with two paths correct? But what i don't understand is that when you config the raid on one card using saconfig, how does the other card know what array configuration the other one has?
Or do i need to use regular u320 scsi cards instead of the 6402 and use mirrordisk?

No, I don't thnik you can run two backplane RAID controllers on the same set of disks. They expect to have exclusive control over 'their' disks.
