MSA500 - 6404 Controllers.

MSA500 - 6404 Controllers.

We have inadvertently built a cluster that is not supported by HP (DL380 & DL580 connected to an MSA500). We have been informed that the 6404 controller, installed in the servers, is not compatible. The SCSI cards for the MSA500 were not supplied with our original order - will removing the controllers and installing the SCSI require the servers to be re-configured?

Yes, you can assume from the above that I am 'very' new to servers/disk arrys etc. so please keep any reponses firmly grounded at 'idiot' level.
