The version you have is the one that comes from the factory.
Since the WOCP can manage all the features of the EVA (create vdisk, add host ...)?

you need Command View to manager your EVA. Currently there are two different ways:
1. Install CV on a windows server and manage you EVA with this CV installation.
2. You update your EVA to XCS 095000000. Then you can use CV 9.0 installed on the controller to manage you EVA. This is only supported with EVA4400.

If I upgrade to the EVA XCS 095000000, then I can fully manage the EVA from WOCP?
The CD came with the EVA Smart Start for EVA 2.1, which comes with the CV8, the update is free or must pay a license for more CV9?

Solutionfirst you need a functional CV server to update XCS. Try to setup it on a windows server with a FC-HBA. You can download CV9 here:
