Migrating array level

Hello, I need to migrate from a RAID 1 level array (2x18Gb) to a RAID 5 array, adding a 18Gb hard disk. Am I able to do that with a 221 controller? If not what is the array controller version that can perform such operation?

The 221 array controller does not support raid migration, for this you will need a 431 array controller or a 3200 /4200 or 5300 controller. To do this swap the controller out post it should see the logical drive if you run NT you can boot to the OS and run the ACU from there. Email me orionquest@hotmail.com for a word doc on the raid 1 to 5 migration on these controllers.
