Mixed disks on an EVA5000.

I have a customer with an EVA5000 and a default diskgroup containing 36 Gb diskdrives,he has bought new diskdrives to add to the EVA5000,but the size of the drives is different,72 Gb,can we add the new diskdrives to the default diskgroup or should we create a new diskgroup for the new diskdrives..?
Wich option is the best for keeping the EVA5000 on its best performance..?

You can mix disks with different sizes but can not mix disks with different technology.
