I have a model 20 with two Service Processors and 20 nike disks installed. I have been using two HP dummy terminals connected to the SP to view the Grid Manager.
I am about to lose one terminal and I would like to know if I can use the serial port of my HP Unix workstation to act as terminal.
Here is what I have tried to do:
1) Connect SP serial to workstation serial port.
2) Open hpterm
3) export TERM=vt100
4) cu -l /dev/tty1p0
It seems to work during the SP selftest but displays garbage when the grid manager comes up.
Please help!
John

Re: Model 20 Nike disk array grid manager
On step #4 it says using vt100 emulation. How do I run hpterm window in vt100 emulation?
Thanks,
John
