Move Raid 0 to raid 5

Hello all.

I have a Proliant ML G5 With an HP Smart Array 641 controller, with 2 HP 72'8 GB disk configured in Raid-0. I wish to migrate to raid 5 by adding another HD.

Is it possible?
How can i do it?

Thanks a lot.

Re: Move Raid 0 to raid 5

Yes it is posible. First you expand the RAID adding the new disk, then you convert the logical unit to RAID 5.

Re: Move Raid 0 to raid 5

Thanks a lot you bouth, i started making an expansion of the array, no i am just migrating the raid level from raid 0 to raid 5. Slow process anyway, but enough for my purpose.
