Multiple RAID on 6404 controller

Hi,

Are there any known performance issues with configuring multiple RAID logical volumes on the same controller?

We have add a new RAID 1+0 volume to an existing RAID 5 volume and have started noticing higher IO Waits on the the OS.

hello,
generally if you have more volumes, controller has more overhead... but shouldn'd be so noticable... How many disk do you have? Are volumes on the same disks?
