My OS died...
Maybe you all can help me with this...i'm running a small network right now at RAID 5. The thing is, the power went out, and my first drive failed so i lost my OS.
I went online and found out how to swap out the drive so that it will all rebuild itself, but for the life of me, i can't find the drive...
What i was thinking about doing, is installing the OS on one of the other existing hard drives, and leaving it at RAID 0 until i can go out and afford another HD to replace the burned out one.
Does anyone know how to install an OS on an existing Hard drive, or has a link to a good website? My network thanks you...
