Need help on EVA Product .... !

Dear All,

Our company is planning to purchase a storage box for dumping data before backup.
I have to evaluate the HP EVA 4000 disk array.

I Do NOT have in depth knowledge of EVA. Pls help me to get some details on EVA.

Any URL / DOC which will give an over view and features, will help me to understand the way it works.

Pls help …… !

Start with http://www.hp.com/go/eva4000 for an overview and product specs. Docs are also available at that link.

If you'll be the one to manage it, might be a good idea for your company to send you to some training for the EVA too.

Another thing to possible thing about is getting a demo unit for a few months. The best training is hands on training.

Talk to your reseller, they should be able to get you something.

What I can say is that even when EVA Storage is very fast, it's also very expensive because of the fibre technology.

Why don't you give a try to virtual libraries?
