NetRaid Log error

Hi
Can someone tell me in detail what the CDB and the Sense Data meen?
This is a part of the logfile from the NetRAID Assistant on my HP NetServers LH6000r.
NOTIFY:Check Condition on Ch 0 ID 8 with the following sense key - Thu Jul 08 09:23:40 2004
Time Stamp Date = On Jul,01 2004 At 13:25:7
The CDB = 2e 02 00 5f 2f 00 00 00 80 00
Sense Data = f0 00 03 00 5f 2f 0e 0a 00 00 00 00 11 00 e4 80 00 82

Hello Bernard,

the decoding of the SCSI cdb, sense key and asc/ascq :

2e: Write & Verify command

03 : medium error
11 00: unrecoverable read error

So in other words, the disk at SCSI id=8 on channel 0 is a bit sick and it might be best you let it replace before it gets worst and you array becomes non redundant or you loose data even.

Pls also see my post for the details on what happens with this error message in the
error log after the bad disk is replaced.
