NetServer Storage System/6
OS: WIN98se
SCSI Controller: Adaptec AVA 2904
I have the problem that i don't see the drive on my workspace. On the display at the NetServer i see the messege "HP", and all lamps by the three harddisk's shine.
have anybody ideas about this system?

That card is soooooo old.. it also looks like it was available only for the European market: "Ava-2904 and Ava-2904cd are products, which are sold exclusively on the European market." There are some drivers available for 2000/98/95 and even DOS and windows 3.x..

If that card had a BIOS on it (Ctrl-A) on POST and you can see your hdd's in the bios then it is a OS/Driver issue..

also slow down the transfer rate of the HBA to 20 MB, this should solve lots of these problems
