Of MSA1000s, DtS, SA6412s and MSA30s

Now, I've known that the MSA1000/1500 has had the DtS capability for some time, and I have a client who would like me to implement this system for them. I started looking up any required/supported steps to implement this and only found some rather old NT/2k docs and a Linux doc. In these docs it did not list the SA6412 or anything in the 6000 series as a supported controller for a DtS migration.

Has anyone done a DtS from two MSA30s (2 volumes each shelf) that are hanging off a 6412 to an MSA1000? Is there a newer document that I can't for the life of me find?

The process looks fairly straightforward from the documents I've seen so far.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thats an SA6402, not 6412 :) Typing too fast here.
