OpenView SDM 1.09.02
Hi experts,
I need an advice solving the following problem:
System: DL740 + VA
Software: CommandView SDM 1.07/1.09.02, Windows Server 2k3 RC2
Since we upgraded CV SDM to version 1.07, I'm getting this error, when launching the program: "error getting database reference from localhost".
I tried to upgrade it to version 1.09 but the error still occurs. My problem is, that I can't reconstruct if one of the changes which were made on the machine caused this error because the former administrator of the server left a few weeks ago. I would appreciated every hint you can give to me to solve this problem. If you need further information don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks a lot for your support.
Greetings
Oliver

Re: OpenView SDM 1.09.02
Your subject "Openview ..." may be a bit confusing.
Did you try "armdiscover"?
You may consider to uninstall the software, remove all modified setting files left there and re-install again.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: OpenView SDM 1.09.02
thanks for your answer. I will try armdiscover as soon as possible.
I already uninstalled the software but I don't know if I removed all the files. I searched the registry and removed the created folders.
