P2000 G3 SAS Multipath problem
Hi!
I have a P2000 G3 SAS storage (2 controller configuration)with two DL 360 G8 servers (Set up with Windows Server 2012 Datacenter). The server's connect to the storage via HP H221 HBA's and the volumes of the storage are shownn correctly on each server. The problem is, that as soon as I configure Multipathing with the command (mpclaim -n -i -a) one of the servers shows a bluescreen when executing the command or on the next restart. The error code is page_fault_in_nonpaged_area(lsi_sas2-sys). I already did a firmware update of the H221 and the P2000 controllers but it didn't help.
Can anybody help me?
Thank's in advance
Markus

Re: P2000 G3 SAS Multipath problem
Hi!
I was able to fix the problem. I disabled the H221 controller in the bios and was then again able to boot the server. Then I installed all the Microsoft Updates and after installing an Optional Update the error was gone.
