some time ago I presented a lot of P2000 volumes to hosts, but I was not able to find the profile selection in the GUI of this P2000 G3.
Finally I did all the mapping on the CLI, because this was very fast and easy (about 120 host assignments), but I wounder where I can find the host profile assignment in the GUI.
Any hints or screenshots?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: P2000 - host profile
But after working with them for a while - one day I realized you can right-click on the SMU and get more options :)
Maybe that's where your presenting is?

Re: P2000 - host profile
What I finally did is this from CLI:
# set host-name id
but I'm still curious how I can do this from GUI/SMU.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: P2000 - host profile
The SMU guide says it should be available when during "add host", but I cannot find this.
page 74:
- Profile. Select the appropriate option that specifies whether the host allows use of LUN 0 for
mappings:
- Standard: LUN 0 can be assigned to a mapping. This is the default.
- OpenVMS: LUN 0 cannot be assigned to a mapping.
- HP-UX: LUN 0 can be assigned to a mapping and the host uses Flat Space Addressing
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
